Laura Killingsworth holds a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from Drury University and a Master of Music in Flute Performance from Missouri State University.
Laura has been an active performer in area ensembles for 20 years, and for 15 years she was the flute instructor at Hoover Music Company before taking time off from teaching and performing to stay at home with her young children.
During her previous tenure at Hoover Music, Laura absolutely adored her students and was so honored to be the one who was there for their first notes all the way to their college auditions.
She is looking so forward to starting again with a new generation of flutists and thrilled to be back at Hoover’s.
